Exactly what you expect and hope. Soft and flexible enough that you can rest assured that the case won't cause accidental damage, yet protective enough that I can comfortably drop it (with my XPS 13 inside) onto a tile from a great height. The material inside is great. If forced to apply, I'd like to see a more convenient front pocket. Not sure what it's for, but it's way too small for a charger or pretty much any accessory. It's perfect for papers like this, but I'm not sure what the intention behind this bag was.
