What could be wrong with such a simple product? It has banana clips on both sides, suggesting you can use banana forks on either side, which is only true depending on the banana fork you're using. I tried using very good quality Sewell deadbolt banana plugs and found them to be too long to use on either side. You will pop out the banana plug on the opposite side when fully inserted. I don't think there is a standard for banana fork sizes. Another problem was associated with plastic injection molding. I installed it in a 2-gang box and covered it with a Leviton brand decorative faceplate. I found the shape of this product to be a little inconsistent with the standard decor shape (I haven't tried the included cover bezel). I ended up needing sand on my faceplate for this product to fit. In all the years I've used different brands of decorating equipment, I've never had to do this.
