In 25 years of driving I have never attempted to change a "cabin air filter". However, I saw this on a Honda service schedule for my 2009 Honda Ridgeline RTL for an upcoming visit to the dealer for service. I asked the dealer to change the oil and filter but told him to hold back on the engine and cab air filters (thought I could do it myself and save money). So after a bit of research I settled on the TYC 800003P filter. This turns out to be the same filter for my 2012 Honda Odyssey EXL. So I ordered two filters and had them replaced in less than 20 minutes. I think it took me more time to reorganize the glove box after replacing it than installing the filter myself. I bought a used Honda Ridgeline about 2 years ago and never checked the cabin filter. It was disgusting! I'm so glad I changed it now and will probably do it once a year. I love filters; House air filters, tap water filters, filter changes in my home air conditioner, etc. Just make a regular schedule for all of these things and make your life a little healthier.
