I work at a computer all day and work with Solidworks and other design programs that can be stressful on computers. I play at night, a few hours before bed. I haven't had a laptop for a few years and prefer to build my own computer and keep it up to date. Needless to say I was nervous about buying a laptop. The problem with the laptop after just a week of use only made me regret as a buyer. Luckily, Computer Upgrade Kings and Revain helped me sort out the issue with my laptop and got a replacement within a few days. I'm not sure what exactly the problem with the laptop was. Battery life has improved from over 4 hours when shipped to <1 hour after a week. The laptop was overheating and freezing during startup. The new laptop performs very well, good battery life at 6 hours of playtime at maximum GPU. It heats up when plugged into mains, but doesn't exceed 75C. When running on battery, it runs cooler. I believe this is because it reduces power consumption. I have mine on a cooling pad and the GPU temp is consistently below 65C. Overall this is a good laptop. I would get it again.
