Review on HyperX Alloy Origins – Software-Controlled Light & Macro Customization, Compact Form Factor – Tactile HyperX Aqua Switch by Mohamad Yusri ᠌

Completely standard product, nothing remarkable.

My very first mechanical keyboard, and I can't find a single thing wrong with the hardware. The buttons are quick to respond, and it is a pleasure to type on them. I like the style, and it was really sturdy and long-lasting. Nevertheless, there is a problem with the software in that it frequently freezes, the program is of extremely poor quality, and the hot buttons used to switch profiles do not function well with it. There are several effects that either do not function at all or work with a catastrophic delay. When the system was booted up, there was an occasional clearing of all of the profiles (rarely, but it happened). It would appear that it is not vital; yet, the RGB modes do not operate well; however, I believe that in the Clave, considering the price, everything should be significantly better. You can also acquire it for a lower price. I returned it back to the store, where I then purchased another one.

Pros
  • Full size, weighty, aesthetically pleasing, and responsive buttons that are also pleasant to text on.
Cons
  • The cost of the software (with such a number of jambs)
