This is a very good mount and the MagSafe feature works great. It's all plastic, just like the Belkin mount. The vent mount fits my jeep's vent very snugly and doesn't move after tightened. Unlike other vent mounts, this one has a hook on the back for hanging on the vent and a rod on the front that tightens on the vent to keep it from loosening. It's a step up from the days when we just used clips, which in many cases had to be lined up. No spacers are required with this mount. Removal is just as easy by loosening the clamp. iPhone 12 easily attaches with magnets and stays in place with circular and vertical line magnets. The MagSafe drive has a glowing blue ring in the center to show it's powered on. Nice feature. You can rotate this mount to orient your phone in many positions. Once you are happy with the position, just tense up and she will hold the position. So far I haven't had any movement with either the iPhone 12 or this mount. It should be noted that this mount protrudes slightly further from the vent than standard mounts of a similar shape and size. That's because there are two locknuts to tighten the mount to the vent and another to tighten the position you chose to mount the phone to the MagSafe plate. That wasn't a problem for me, as I could slide it far enough to the right onto the air vent that there was enough space between the mount and the steering wheel even with the iPhone mounted.
