Review on 🚗 CAR ROVER D1S/D1C Xenon Headlight Bulb (8000K) – Enhanced Replacement with Metal Stents Base (Pack of 2) by Dominic Mayo

Although they arrived well packaged and clean, I wiped the glass with alcohol before fitting. Try not to let the bulb touch the housing during installation (pretty difficult for an MCS unless you've pulled the entire fixture out). After the initial cauterization for about 10 minutes, they looked nice and even. Color appears to be around 8K (compared to my standard 6K in left image) - just a shade of blue which is as described. No errors for the 2008 Mini Cooper S (R56). Was skeptical because other brands cost twice as much for one of these! UPDATE: One lightbulb stopped working after a few weeks (not burned out judging by the picture). I thought it might be my ballast as it would light up at times but I tested it on my old bulb which lit up straight away. Currently waiting for an exchange. However, the score does not change if the replacement solves the problem. defects happen.
