Disappointed in women

Nice shoes but they don't fit. I wear a size 6 sports shoe and this is half a size bigger. Also, I didn't realize these weren't ordinary tennis shoes with a tongue and laces. They are more like fitted or non-slip shoes. Socks are uncomfortable to wear and I find myself putting my foot in my boot and adjusting the sock. Definitely not comfortable shoes.
