I got this case back in October 2013 and initially snapped the top cover on the wrong way. They were fairly easy to snap in, but I didn't notice that there was certain way to clip the top in so that the top and bottom covers looked flush when the lid was closed until after I had put them on. Taking the top cover off felt like I was about to rip off the screen, but with careful prying, I was able to take off the cover and snap it on the other way. I am a graduate student and take the Air with me everywhere and so far the case has held up pretty well taking on drops while in the case in my sparsely padded backpack. One of the corner clips on the bottom cover of the case broke off but it is still holding on extremely snugly. The only reason I took off a star is because the rubber feet on the case kept slipping out of position due to the constant sliding of the Air into and out of my backpack. Now, I just removed all four rubber feet and it still works well, but it is just a little more susceptible to sliding around while it is on my desk while I study and move papers and books around (which sometimes inadvertently hits the Air and moves it). I just wish the rubber feet were attached a little more securely onto the case than what looked to be attached by double-sided tape (It is does not look like it is just glued into place because I use to be able to realign the discs of adhesive myself after I took off the feet so that I could reattach the feet with the adhesive properly in place. The double sided tape does not have that plastic middle layer, instead it is more like a cloth layer).
