Review on Shazo Airtight Food Storage Container by Brokencyde Greer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Saving space but one container arrived with a crack

Like many other reviewers, one of my six containers arrived with a large tear down the side. The box the containers come in just isn't strong enough to protect the contents unless there's padding on both sides - but Revain doesn't ship that way; One side of the box always rests against the bottom of the shipping box. Thankfully, Revain's excellent customer service (as always) sent me a new set within a few days, but it's a shame Shazo can't fix this seemingly common problem. It will be great. Their straight sides make them very compact in my small RV pantry. Two half-height containers stacked on top of each other correspond exactly to one of the tall containers, which increases the space in my pantry even further. The flip-latch lid closes tightly, so it should keep out moisture well. The bins are strong but after seeing a crack I suspect they will break if they fall off the rack onto the floor. The plastic is quite hard and doesn't forgive mistakes. The only other downside is that water can seep into the lid when washing. It's not that hard to shake out all but a few drops, but just make sure they're completely dry inside before using. So far I'm happy with both sets of Shazo containers, but we'll see how they hold up. extended usage.
