I snagged this PCI-E USB port expander as I was able to get my new mouse's polling rate up to around 3000Hz when it was supposed to hit 8000Hz! After installing this card, install the card drivers and then reinstall the mouse drivers. I'm definitely getting a higher poll rate! However, now it only hangs at a frequency of 4300-4400Hz. So still better than before (at 3000Hz). But I think anything over 1000Hz is still better than what I'm used to. But I'm really even more curious as to how the heck I can actually get to 8000Hz. I'm just guessing that it might be a driver issue/limitation, but I really don't know. Either way, it's a damn good PCI-E card! Now that I actually have a USB-C port, I can use that port! Also, the ports on this card transfer data very quickly! Of course it was a bit expensive. But in terms of its performance (especially mouse polling speed in my case) this thing is amazing!
