I was using this product when a door cord on one side of my dishwasher broke and the door would not fall down. Like everything, YouTube how to make repairs. I completed the repair and the cables worked as advertised with one exception. The door made an awful noise every time you opened and closed it. I tried all the youtube tricks to get rid of the noise: I was really hoping that smearing the cables with petroleum jelly would get rid of the annoying noise, but it didn't happen. I even tried greasing the mount wheels to no avail. I've also used aerosol lube, no luck. What finally got rid of the noise was removing the new brackets and installing the old brackets with new cables. Instant silence. Recommend the company to find a way to get rid of the annoying noise.
