The colors are great. It's perfect for travel because it's basically a full face in one palette. You can use it as a contour, highlighter, eye shadow and blush. I like that there are colder and warmer tones. I'm redheaded so I usually wear cooler tones to even out my skin tone, but the warm tones looked great too because they're not very orange. As for the packaging, I love it. That. The gold frame looks solid and expensive. It also has a magnetic lid to keep it closed. Plus it smells great! In fact, this palette was so good that I realized my Clay Play Volume 1 palette was a fake. it's a bummer, but it's GREAT.
