I bought these mainly for camping, car trips etc to use in place of many smaller water bottles. 3 bags work fine; you have a very small and slow but constant leak. I've thought about returning them but still want to use the other 3 this weekend. The 3 that have no problems work fine. The grip feels secure even when full. The plastic seems decently strong, but I wouldn't put them next to skis or anything sharp/pointy. You can freeze them to turn them into ice packs that dissolve in drinking water, which I'll be doing this weekend. They take up a decent amount of space in the freezer as they're about 1.3 gallons (5 L) each.
