The belt corresponds exactly to the description. Even the loose fabric outside of the stitching on the ends of the strap was exactly as one review described. Despite this blemish, I took the belt out of the box, added a holster and pockets, and went to the competition the next day. It worked great. I never had to worry about anything. I wear an inner belt. Put the outer strap on top and it stayed in place until I took it off. Very important! I would recommend getting one size larger than your waist measurement. This will give you more straps to tighten things up.
