Excellent belt! No complaints other than the fact that the inner strap isn't twisted properly (and appears to be sewn that way) so when you put it on properly the velcro snaps in and slightly protrudes from the strap. In terms of size, it fits perfectly. I wear size 34 trousers (Levi 514) and usually a size 36-38 belt. I bought a large size (waist 34-36) and I think it fits perfectly. A few inches of overlap for a secure fit without excess bulk.

I needed a sling for the USPSA and other combat pistol competitions because my holsters and mag pouches weren't made for speed. I was skeptical about this belt because there weren't any other members around me wearing the Black Scorpion belt and I saw that in some cases the velcro didn't work properly and they had to use some zip ties to prevent that the belt came loose. The belt corresponds exactly to the description. Even the loose fabric outside of the stitching on the ends of the strap was exactly as one review described. Despite this blemish, I took the belt out of the box, added a holster and pockets, and went to the competition the next day. It worked great. I never had to worry about anything. Actually I use this for my work as an ambulance. I call it the bat belt. I don't wipe my pants with it, so I can take them off and on quickly. It's so nice to sit in your gear for hours and not want the belt to cut you in. crack, okay. Just a word of warning, this is my first athletic belt I have ever purchased. I've been tossing and turning between this belt and more expensive ones and am very happy with my purchase.
