Review on 👜 Water-Resistant Leather Crossbody Bag for Outdoor Shoulder Wear by David Causillas

I needed a larger "sling bag" to sling over my shoulder. My old one was too small for my new 12.9" iPad with new in-ear headphones. This bag is perfect for free space and a few extra zip pockets. My old shoulder bag and another medium sized leather bag. The backpack I have , has a smoother (polished?) finish texture. This one is exactly like the one in the picture, with a slightly rougher (less smooth) surface. I don't think I have a strong preference for which finish I like best, but I do definitely appreciate how soft and supple it is.It feels quite heavy and well made.Zippers are strong and properly aligned.They attach well to the bag and won't snag or pinch.YKK for the win!The lining is off smooth nylon, durable enough. The shoulder strap is a little smoother and "softer" than some typical ballistic nylon straps used in laptop bags. The shoulder strap is ok. It's not particularly wide or d ick, but it gets the job done. I'm quite tall (6'2") and love the gs on me when I pull the strap all the way out. It sits low on my back without being too low. I immediately switched the strap to use it on a different hook loop I like to access the pockets from this angle as I rotate them forward to get at something I'm glad it's possible to attach the strap to the opposite hook loop I was looking for that. The stretchy open pocket on the side could (barely) hold my 20oz Yeti glass but I prefer to use this pocket to keep my sunglasses in their case Depending on which belt loop you use this side pocket may not be there in the best position for holding and getting your hydration cup out so keep that in mind.a little concerned about how hot and sweaty this bag is making me feel..but the nylon mesh back is breathable enough to to reduce heat build-up. I was still very warm and a little sweaty, but the bag wasn't as important as I feared. Overall I like this bag. I think I would have preferred it in a nice chocolate brown to match my other leather "adventure bags" but that's just personal preference. I'm happy to report that I have no suggestions for improving this bag. This is a pleasant surprise.
