These live up to the expectation of energy savings and the color is as advertised. Despite claiming to have twice the lumens of a standard camper incandescent bulb, these don't seem to be much brighter (to my wife's liking). The are a lot cooler than the old bulbs. They cast weird lines of yellow and white which are particularly noticeable on light-colored surfaces. This may be worsened or caused by the clear plastic covers that go on the light fixtures which have lines textured into them. Also, the light fixtures in our camper seemed to make the bulbs install at maybe a 10-15 degree angle away from horizontal which makes it cast light more to one side than the other. These are harder to push in than the regular incandescent bulbs. I'm probably going to buy more of these for the four remaining bulbs that we didn't replace with the first set of 20. All the bulbs worked, no problem there. This is pretty much a dead ringer replacement for both color and brightness of standard incandescent bulbs in a camper.
