Review on Nutrition 53 Lean 1 Dietary Supplement: Chocolate Peanut Butter Flavor for Effective Weight Loss - 1.98 lb by Dawn Fischer

I have ordered from Nutrition 53 three times now. The first time was great. I received the product exactly as described. On my second order, I did not receive the item pictured. I didn't realize it at first until I made my first cocktail and it tasted pretty bad. After examining the plastic container carefully, I noticed that there is a difference on the front of the container that I received. Instead of saying "natural and artificial flavor" on the green stripe on the front of the container, as you can see from the picture in the product description, my brown striped hat said "natural flavor". Apparently this slight change made the chocolate taste awful. Now, I generally applaud any company that tries to remove artificial flavors, but sacrificing flavor to the product is unacceptable to me. Perhaps not everyone who buys this Nutrition 53 product will notice the difference in taste. As a user of Lean1 chocolate smoothie mix for over 3 years I can definitely detect a terrible aftertaste and I can't drink it. I contacted Nutrition 53 and they refunded my purchase. Since they were the only company on Amazon selling it at the time, I tried again. Again I received a container that does not match what is shown in their picture; one that just says "naturally flavored" on the front. Tastes just as bad as before. I asked them if there was a way to make sure I would get the correct product if I bothered to order it again and they told me no; that it was not in their hands. I also took the step of calling Smoothie King headquarters to see if anyone could tell me if they were planning to discontinue the original Lean1 chocolate formula, but no one answers my calls. Thankfully, even now, Revain has the original Lean1 chocolate recipe, albeit in smaller containers. I'll order that now.
