I have used $6,000 hearing aids, and although those have somewhat better sound quality and features, they cost/value ratio for these (Banglijian) units are incredible. Been using about a month for low-mid level hearing loss. I love them. The unknown issue is really how long they will last. The sound quality is just fine. All hearing aids suck in sound quality, but you tend to get used to them over time. Even the top end ones sound tinny and electronic, even with so-called professional adjustment and fitting. The hearing aid industry is a huge an powerful lobbying force with a network of audiologist who savage these things. My advice is to be a little skeptical of the bad reviews.Definitely recommend trying for the cost.
