I left this in my vehicle for a few days, and when I tried it again it would not work.Bangligian contacted me and I followed their instruction on cleaning. This worked and the aid started working.for about 30 minutes, then it suddenly died again.Not real happy. Edit: December 28, 2019. I just received my 2nd hearing amplifier - I was so happy with that first one that I decided to take a chance and purchase one for my "bad” ear. I just finished charging it and fitting it to my right ear. It’s like magic - I can hear out of this ear again! The hearing aid arrived three days ago. There are so many small tubes and fittings and the instructions were too small for these 88 year old eyes. My young caregiver took over and had it put together and working in what seemed only a few minutes. I was pleasantly surprised when the sounds were clear and extra noise filtered out. Got a pair for myself. They increase the volume well. In fact, I had to set it on the lowest settings, otherwise they make the sound too loud for me.I wish they would have a rudimentary control for increasing the high frequencies only. Something that is available on the cheapest radios and stereos. I think the circuitry is already there, but the control does not seem to be exposed to the user.

The unit is small for a behind the ear amplifier. The rechargeable feature is nice since I won't have to buy separate batteries. The amplification is quiet and clear.
