The unit is small for a behind the ear amplifier. The rechargeable feature is nice since I won't have to buy separate batteries. The amplification is quiet and clear. My only issue so far is that the volume setting at low is a bit loud for my moderate hearing loss. At its lowest setting, I end up with an imbalance between my right and left ear. It is more apparent when I first start wearing them. After buying some of the cheaper devices, these are definitely a step up with regards to clarity and noise reduction.
