But in practice, everything is completely different. Firstly, even after a month of taking the cat, there were problems with the stool. Secondly, she ate food sprinkled with the drug with much less appetite than food without the drug. It even got to the point that she refused food with a probiotic at all. Perhaps the whole thing is in a very painful condition of the cat, but for us this remedy turned out to be completely useless. One doctor prescribed it to us, but after a month and a half she transferred our cat to another, more experienced doctor. So, our current veterinarian called FortiFlora a glamorous and advertised drug and transferred us to human Biovestin, which turned out to be more effective. I will still recommend the FortiFlora probiotic for cats, but its properties should not be exaggerated.
