I ordered this because my kids are in online school and tend to snack and don't seem to care too much about my 1000th birthday - Clean Dollar MacBook Air. :). However, I've seen some covers online that had numbers/letters already printed on them, but they didn't line up or covered the caps lock key or blocked the backlighting of the backlit keys. Not with that. This is a transparent case with nothing printed on it except "GhostCover" with a space. There is nothing wrong with the keyboard itself. So far so good and my third year loves it. In fact, he's about as close to invisibility as you can get. Another cool feature is that it doesn't cover the top right button, as it's also your "Touch ID" that reads your fingerprints, so it won't work if it's covered. Do other reviews mention cost? C'mon, what's a few extra bucks to protect your expensive computer. I consider it a great value compared to other things you can buy. The paper that came with it says it recommends replacing it every 6 months, which makes perfect sense to me. For your health.
