I should have heeded the warnings of other reviews but decided to give it a try because I have a 50 foot cable to a good needed price. As always, you get what you pay for. The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the plastic bag was that it didn't feel like 50ft and was incredibly thin. I've worked in tech support for a long time, so I've been working with my share of cables, and this one just didn't feel right. Second, it was NOT the 50 feet it took me to run my router to my home office. I'm guessing it's about 35 feet, more or less. I tried to get it working by rearranging the table but. In the end it just didn't work. I have a home office for my daughter and I and the original CAT-5 we used delivered perfect speeds, no issues with VoIP or heavy application usage. This cable just didn't work. He couldn't send simple text messages, let alone VoIP. My router port was blinking orange the whole time until I plugged in a real CAT-5. It's garbage. I am requesting a refund.
