Review on Woolrich 108x100-Inch Hudson Bay 8 Point Blanket in Scarlet with Black Stripes by Tara Rodriguez

I ordered the Hudson's Bay 8 Point Blanket from eSource through Revain just before Christmas because we got our first king bed and it was a great sale. I was concerned about spending so much money on a duvet from a seller I've never used, but they supplied the original at an amazing price! I will never be without a Point Blanket again after being spoiled by the wonderful warmth it provides. A cold bed seems to warm up almost instantly, and no extra blankets are needed even on the coldest nights. Somehow this wool blanket has amazing properties to keep you warm without overheating and allows your body to breathe unlike fleece or vellux. Our heat pump couldn't work at night during the polar vortex, but little did we know that we had to get up to turn on the emergency cooker because we'd been sound asleep and warmed up in the bedroom all night with temperatures below 50 degrees. With our old duvets, which were very nice wool and velvet duvets, and a duvet to top it off, we would have been woken up by the cold in the mid 60's. We no longer need a winter blanket on our blanket. It's just a sheet, a woolen blanket and a light duvet that's lightly quilted. Depending on your point of view, I can think of a big plus or minus for this blanket. My wife no longer has to come up to me and hug me to keep warm because now she warms herself. I will never be without a patch quilt again. I didn't know what I was missing. It really isn't that expensive once you understand the convenience and the fact that it's built to last. And no, it doesn't scratch, but it's not super soft either.
