I was skeptical. But the thing works. This greatly reduces the hook/cut of your swing. Of course, you can use other common substances to achieve the same result (WD-40, wax, etc.), but this form factor is compact, easy to use and store. You may be wondering: why use a product like this when it's (technically) illegal under the rules of golf? Here's a good one. When you hook or hook the ball too hard, you tend to spasm and/or make up for deficiencies in your backswing by doing unnatural things that actually aggravate those deficiencies. Now that I don't have to worry as much about the cut, I'm more relaxed in both my stance and swing and am making positive adjustments to both. To the point where I no longer need to use this product. It definitely helped while I was learning and it made the game more fun to be able to spend more time on the fairway and less time in the woods. :)
