I bought this because our car was stolen a few days ago. The police found it the same day it was stolen. The quality is good, the assembly was quite easy. Didn't even need instructions. The problem is that the waterproof caps weren't attached to the ethernet cables as intended, which unfortunately I didn't realize until after all the cables were routed. They had waterproof caps packaged separately, but they can't connect cables until I cut the end of the ethernet cable, put the cap on, and then re-solder the ethernet connector. I just ended up with duct tape. Fortunately, the connections aren't where rain can get on them. I called the company to find out how to put the waterproof covers on the cable. The lady I spoke to had trouble understanding English. She asked me to send photos. So I did. They suggested, after a very stupid email session, that I fix the cable (weld it and reconnect the ethernet cable) or take the whole thing off and send it back for a replacement cable. That's too much extra work. Hopefully taped will hold it up for the next 4 years.
