This is a very simple way to add casting to your application. No matter what device you are using, this will work. Casting from mobile to TV. The UI can be improved a bit but at least it works as intended. We use this in our office so everyone has access through their mobile devices. It's great that we don't need to install software or setup anything. With this, everyone is able to see whatever they want with no barriers to entry. I like that the app has been updated to work with newer devices. It works well when connecting to TVs and Chromecast devices. At times you will have to refresh the device for it to show up again. This is a bit annoying but not a deal breaker. Definitely give this a try if you are looking for an alternative to Chromecast or Apple TV. We use Google Cast to connect our smart TV to our home network. Streaming content from Netflix, Amazon Prime media player, and other apps.
