These bulbs get very hot
I bought these 10 watt bulbs because I thought they were brighter than the 5 watt bulbs I already have. My 5 watt lightbulbs have never been too hot to touch. These bulbs were the same brightness as the 5 watt bulbs but were incredibly hot. Those extra 5 watts are just heat. They would be great for space heating but I didn't notice any extra light.
