I had a very bitter tasting powder that I had to give my cat daily. She wouldn't eat it if I put it in her food and when I mixed it with water and tried to squirt it down her throat, she vomited again. My vet suggested putting the powder in capsules so the cat wouldn't taste it and she recommended the chicken flavored capsules as they are easier to swallow. The capsules completely solved my problem. Later I used capsules with another drug, which was a very small tablet that I had to cut into four pieces. The resulting tiny piece was difficult to handle, but was easy to handle once I placed it in the capsule. The only complaint I have is that I had to buy such a large quantity. I wish it came in smaller packages.
