Excellent product, best in sink and bathroom accessories category

I first installed a 48 inch Delta pedestal shower in my hallway bathroom. In its place was not a soul. because the bathroom used to be used as a half-bath and laundry room (a very odd combination indeed). I moved the washer and dryer to a new laundry room I built in the basement and wanted a second bathroom. I used to have one other drain uses products that will inevitably cause water to flow around the drain and cause a flooding problem, even after using plumber, silicone and other products every time I tried to fix the leak - no luck! Bite the bullet, pay more money for this drain product and I've never had a leak since. The two best aspects of this drain (aside from there being no leak): There's no yoke to attach to the back of the drain to tighten it up. Down!, this immediately leads to a lot of installation frustration. Additionally, a professionally choreographed instructional video is included with the product for you to watch slowly and take the conscious steps required for proper installation. This video is SO helpful for DIYers like me. Simplified Instructions: Much easier to install than previous stocks I've used. Few steps: first apply silicone gel around the shower tray drain hole and install this drain into the shower tray hole. Then tighten (4) adjustable STEEL (not plastic) "wings" on the side of the drain hole with a Phillips screwdriver. Finally, the chrome plate is fitted directly onto it, creating an aesthetically pleasing look (and covering the hole, of course). The chrome plate does not need to be glued, and you probably shouldn't glue it if you decide to replace your shower in the future. Hope that helps.
