For My Ridgie's Ride Case

So after a few rides with Ridgie in the back seat of my 2011 Subaru Forester, here are my thoughts. FYI, I had a Solvit prior to this case which I tolerated and worked fine to a point (great apart from having to seal the seat belt holes to prevent sand, dirt and hair from seeping through). After a few years of service, the grommets broke off and the substrate collapsed, so a new cover. After a long delay, I pulled the Krunco trigger. First, it fits in the back seat of my Forester quite snugly. The seat side covers and especially the bean bag holders that help hold the seat backs in place are great. A big relief for me and our many beach trips was the Velcro strap holes. Brilliant. Every seat cushion should have this property. In general, it's very solid so far, with one moderately annoying exception. In the Forester, the rear bench seat doesn't really have an accessible "lower" area (at least not easily accessible), so the straps designed to hold the front of the trunk are somewhat useless. This means that, depending on the activity of the sometimes very excited animal, the leading edge often pulls the leading edge up and exposes the seat. I'm sure that a little ingenuity on my part will eventually find a solution, but as it stands it's a tiny problem in my particular application. However, a usable lid that looks like this will do the job for quite a while.
