I've had them for a few months now. At first I hated them and wanted to send them back. When I put them on they felt snug, very stiff, and the upper really dug into my feet (especially when climbing stairs). But I read some reviews and decided to try and work with them. It's been a few months and I'd say they've softened up, but still not great. They're warm enough for Chicago winters and the insole is comfortable, but the cons add up. My healing is rubbing my back and I still have a problem with that that the upper of the shoe is cutting / rubbing into my feet - although it's not half as bad as it was to begin with. I walk a lot, but I wouldn't do it
