The apartment does not have a view of the TV towers.

Tried two other antennas that didn't support clear picture/sound. I was able to intercept the transmitters, but they kept dropping out. I sold an antenna to a friend who had a better view of the towers. His previous antenna was a flat window antenna, which experienced some signal loss. My problem was that my apartment didn't have a view of the TV towers. It was more expensive to purchase an increased range and an omnidirectional antenna, but that solved the problem. I am now getting clear primary channels as well as some duplicate channels from the extended section. My plan is to filter out duplicates and channels I'm not interested in. If you are limited by the direction of your antenna, this is a good solution. An omnidirectional antenna eliminates the need to point the antenna, so it can be a good choice for an RV, but not for traveling.
