Installed on the wall of my house on the second floor. Live within 35 miles of most sources and have had no problems. Get many more channels than a window mounted antenna

Unfortunately this is not a very good product. I installed it outside the building. It doesn't work on bad days, the picture keeps breaking off, the voice breaks off, very annoying. So I'm not happy with that. I had to go back to use the internal antenna. I get the same channels on the internal antenna (I figured there would be more channels on Antop) and the internal antenna cost me $1.50 and a half. Go to Walmart and buy an indoor antenna.

Live in the foothills where quality of OTA reception varies. Mounted unit above our roofline, on a home made 18ft progressive reduction PVD tube antenna mast. The antenna picked up stations about 75 miles away, although some weren't as powerful as others. We switched from a window antenna to this and increased our reception from 26 to 67 channels. The channels coming in were GREAT, the only problem was it couldn't pick up any of the FOX or PBS or partner channels that my other antenna could use. I haven't even installed mine outside yet and it worked much better than my previous antenna.
