Gets along very well with a large dog

Our husky couldn't walk anymore and we had to take him to the vet. Without her I have no idea what we would do. He sat well in it and the straps really put his mind at ease. We carried him like a stretcher for easy transportation to the vet and home.

Pros
  • High marks for support and longevity from testers
Cons
  • I don't remember but something happened

DO NOT BUY THIS Best in Carriers

It broke on first use! Very poorly built. Does not support the specified weight. I managed to get about 25 feet before he collapsed with my 100 lb dog. Poor design, cheap plastic hardware, broken latch on handle, bent frame, horrible hardware. And very uncomfortable to come back!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I don't remember

Don't waste money!

Don't waste your money on this product. He doesn't hold 250 pounds, not even 150 pounds. When we needed it, it fell apart completely. My husband is an engineer so don't think we can't figure out how to put this together. Today we lost our beautiful Newfoundland and the issues with this stretcher only made things worse!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not the best

Very helpful in difficult times!

Our 130 lb Rottweiler has not been able to walk for the last few weeks of his life. We have used this stretcher many times to take him outside and to the vet. It made our life much easier in a very difficult time. We had to replace the strap because it kept coming off, but I was still very happy with this purchase.

Fantastic support in difficult times.

We have a giant Akbash puppy who was hit by a car and seriously injured. Getting her in and out of the house, getting in and out of the car to take her for treatment was a nightmare until we got this stretcher. I highly recommend this product if you find yourself in a similar situation. This is of great importance.

Pros
  • Useful part
Cons
  • Useless functions

What I received does not match the picture.

The stretcher in the photo puts the dog on it with 3 straps stretched across it to avoid accidents. The carrier I received has a mesh layer that has straps sewn into it instead of going from side to side of the carrier. My dog doesn't like the net being pulled over him. Be very careful when ordering any of these.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • repair

Overall good but cheap hardware

The subframe itself seems pretty solid and I've used it without too much trouble. My only complaint is that the hardware that attaches the strap is very cheap metal that falls off all the time. I will need to replace them to continue using them as intended. They are very easy to open and as I am moving dead animals as part of a home euthanasia I would rather not drop them. The mesh cover also has an odd shape - it appears to cover the head and tail, but it's just a little odd. Will definitely…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Discontinued model

Run away. Don't buy this.

Missing Parts! Not the product as described. The description says it is a "foldable" carrier. Of course mine don't match. The photos included in the product description on the Revain website show the equipment to be donned and assembled as part of the collapsible stretcher. Mine don't match at all. .It doesn't say it's foldable. The instructions don't describe that it's foldable, nor does it show any hardware that would make it so. Also, the two holes that are supposed to match in the metal…

Great product for post surgery recovery

We bought this stretcher for our Cocker Spaniel who is recovering from a broken leg and pelvic surgery. He will be bedridden on a stretcher for at least 3 weeks. This stretcher made it much easier for him to move from room to room so he would always be with us. We have respectfully complemented it with sheepskins, towels and piss pads. We temporarily removed the wheels to make it easier for us to carry it through doors. Hard with wheels. My husband modified the stretcher with brackets and clips

Pros
  • Satisfying
Cons
  • Almost OK
