I had to rate this product because I have too many Read negatives that put me off buying this product for a little over a month. This is my biggest regret. Anyone who wants to buy this toilet seat for health reasons or just for convenience, buy this product. I was hesitant because I've read from a lot of people that it straightens up when you sit on it, so it's like sitting on a regular seat. Therefore neither comfort nor utility. This couldn't be further from the truth. First I went and bought another seat with built in padding. abominable! Then I went and bought some thick foam and made my own. Couldn't be cleaned and wasn't too hygienic. . Although the comfort is not bad. Eventually I bought exfoliating gels and a stick. They didn't fit well, and while they offered some comfort, after a while in the closet they felt like they weren't even there. So I had no choice but to try this seat. I am in a wheelchair and have very little muscle mass. I also use a sling to lift myself, so I needed something that actually worked and does what it was advertised to do. I can say I was in heaven using this product. Why didn't I buy this 5 years ago? Yes, it does crease a bit, but even under full load it has enough padding to keep it soft on the inside. If there is a problem, try buying a 4 inch top instead of a 2 inch top. But from the perspective of a disabled person who needs a TLC toilet, this seat is worth its weight in gold. If it gets worse and you don't like it, remember that returns are easy and free with Prime. What do you have to lose?
