I'm 5'4", about 150 pounds, apple shaped. I usually wear a US size 10; according to the seller's sizing grid I have a large ordered in black and blue.The short self came up where the top band covered my navel and was slightly higher in the back,not a muffin top which I liked.Knee (I have a 30" inseam).The shorts themselves are not compressed but they hide imperfections well.Here's my issue with the shorts and why I gave them 3 stars: They fit awkwardly in my crotch and have horizontal waves of the fabric that rise where my legs meet my torso ;basically there is a V shape made of crumpled fabric right at my V that goes all the way up.Not flattering and definitely draws attention.I'm not sure if it's on Ders would fit if I was more like a pear. And I think I'm the right size. So my original plan was to trim the length down to about 2 inches above the knee, but due to the crotch area I'm coming back.
