I work in networking, and these get mocked by old school engineers who would love to be able to terminate a cable run by biting the plug!But it makes it easier to get an accurate termination. It produces excellent connections, there is no loss of quality.Its easier to use. I do not understand why that is a bad thing. I like things being easier, that means less time terminating and more time swearing at those engineers who use zip ties!

The crimper is sturdy and works well. The included connectors were somewhat difficult to use with the Monoprice Cat6 cable purchased from ebay. The 23 gauge Cat6 wires are a very tight fit in the connectors, and I wasn't sure they were going to work at all. However, I found that they would work OK if I very carefully straightened the twists and pushed the wires into the connectors with some force.

My old crimper is starting to stick and not do a good job of crimping down so it was time to replace it.The Hiija EZ RJ45 Crimp Tool is a fantastic tool! I've crimped both pass through and legacy style connects no problems. I prefer the non pass through ends and every cable I've made has tested 100%. I love the ratcheting style of crimp. This is an awesome tool!

This is a really good product, I get it because will like to see how the pass-through works, i did about 60 connections and it was really easy and fast, love it.

This tool is much sturdier than I expected. My husband needed this tool to do a lot of electrical work in our house. He really liked this tool for all the work that he had to do. I got this for son #1, who says the quality of this crimper is very good. It's sturdy and has held up well to heavy use. And the connectors and covers are also good quality, so it's hard to go wrong with this tool. He does have the more expensive name brand crimp tool and he says that this one works just as well without breaking the bank, so he'd easily recommend it.
