It's not "cool " to use these. It should be!
I work in networking, and these get mocked by old school engineers who would love to be able to terminate a cable run by biting the plug!But it makes it easier to get an accurate termination. It produces excellent connections, there is no loss of quality.Its easier to use. I do not understand why that is a bad thing. I like things being easier, that means less time terminating and more time swearing at those engineers who use zip ties!
