They're not like the ones you're used to.
They are thin, very thin, nothing like the Christmas lights you buy and use for years. Certainly nothing like the ones that would make you feel safe on the road. Although the power converter is UL listed I seriously doubt anything else about these lamps will pass the test. Only use them indoors, and even then make sure you plug them into a surge protector. Oh, the light appears less white with the blue plastic caps making it look different than true blue LEDs. Not so blue, not so bright.
