Causing dew toe injury - poor design

Not designed for canine anatomy. They attach to the dog's leg with Velcro, but are so short that the Velcro straps go right over the dewclaw. If my dog could talk I think he would tell me he was uncomfortable. I bought them to allow my dog's toe pads to heal after an injury - they worked for that purpose, but they gave him another injury by rubbing his toes with rope. I will be looking for a new pair that goes up the leg.
