I needed a stretcher for a breakfast casserole I had to prepare for a group meeting and this worked like a champ. I researched for a week before buying it and it was definitely worth it because I picked a winner. The insulation inside is of high quality and keeps the dish hot for a long time. So much so that it continued to cook when I let it sit for an hour and next time I had to take the breakfast casserole out of the oven earlier. The top zip is very convenient as you can just slide the shell in and zip it up. I have a matching tote bag with a side zip at the end and it's a lot harder to get a hot meal without getting burned, in which case you pop it down easily. I first put a kitchen towel under the hot pan because I read reviews that a hot pan melts the insulation. I don't want to find out if that's true, so I put a small towel down every time. I wish the outside pocket was bigger, it's flat with no room to expand so doesn't fit a serving spoon or spatula, just a knife and a couple of napkins. The straps are well spaced as they distribute weight evenly, and the wraparound handle holds the two straps together, making getting out of the car easier.
