This product does just about anything you want it to! And ILC sells it at an unbeatable price! The only big problem is that the remote control doesn't work perfectly. It's the design. For example, the signal from the remote control is not always recognized by the lamps the first time you press the button, because the glass of the lamp covers partially blocks the signals. You just need to press the button sometimes and also know how to point the remote at the lights as it is a directional IR remote. Don't expect that to change with competing products. I initially returned this item due to this issue, hoping it would be better if I tried competitor products. The rest was even worse. This is a higher quality brand although the price is lower. In the end, I decided that the small problem was far outweighed by all the big benefits, namely the ability to turn the light on and off from bed without getting up (already a big plus!), change colors, a party mode , AND the ability to turn off all colors! So I bought this product again and I have no regrets! Yes, the remote control issue is inconvenient at times, but if you have a ceiling fan/lamp with candelabra lamp holders and want all of these features, CHOOSE THIS ILC PRODUCT and look no further unless you want to pay a lot more and / or have a mobile app feature!
