This pump is useless, waste of money and time considering PITA, it must be replaced in a real pond by draining. etc. In less than two years he was simply abandoned without warning. The first Laguna only spit water about every 30 seconds when it stopped, but this one just stopped. Save your money, go to Harbor Freight. I bought a $100 pump that still works, two expensive Laguna pumps failed in 5.5 years. 03/26/2021 The above pump was replaced under warranty but I had to run the submersible pumps for four weeks for this process to be completed. I had to disassemble the pump, clean it, reinstall it, including draining and refilling the pond, and then after it kept failing as before, drain the pond, remove the pump, etc. and that was difficult with the customer. Support! NOT WHY I SPENT OVER $300 ON THIS LAGUNA PUMP! Now, the same 2019 replacement model has gone offline for the first time in less than two years, and that pump is starting to interfere again. The Harbor Freight pump mentioned at the beginning STILL works well and in the same pond conditions as the Laguna pump which keeps failing. This Laguna pump is in a carp pond that is being sucked and the location for the pump is in an extra crate/net over the manure area and yet this POS is starting to fail. Avoid Laguna products! Go to Harbor Freight and get their pump, get a hassle-free guarantee, you won't regret it. I would give negative five stars if I could!
