Bought because I needed to hang them up in my house. I have a total of 8 sets with a barrel of 4 connected together. If all 4 work, none of them will dim after each connection. It has rained twice so far and they survived. As soon as you turn it on, all the LEDs go out at the same time, but shortly after, they light up, giving you the look you want. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 stars is the way they are mounted in the tube. When using the rubber mounting holes as a mounting point, some LED strips do not face forward but at an angle. Therefore, when you look directly at it, some LEDs appear brighter because they are facing you directly, compared to others, which are more to the side. FYI, the white color is very white and bright!
