Review on BLACK+DECKER 2-in-1 Steam Mop and Portable Steamer HSMC1321 by Robert Patton

I received this on August 14, 2021. Fast delivery. The driver's description says it was handed over to the buyer. This is a blatant lie. Left on the porch in the rain. It's funny, but there are no photos of the driver. But this is different. Advertisements for Revain indicated that the box would be damaged. So respect for the honesty. All parts were in the box and not broken. The instructions are vague as to which attachments go with what. There seems to be a lint attachment for the clothes steamer that isn't mentioned anywhere. However, everything seemed fine. Today I will see a steamer in my ceramic tiled kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The space is not big but has many passers-by. Filling the body of the air purifier is a bit of a hassle as the power cord is plugged in so it gets in the way when using a flush faucet. However, this does not violate the terms of the contract. When the cap is turned in this direction, water will flow out of the filler hole. Attaching the pad to the steamer leg requires some care as the velcro is quite flimsy and there are only 2 of them, one at the top and one at the bottom. I set the machine to ceramic tile mode and the machine heats up fairly quickly and fairly quietly. Now my other steamer broke within a month so my floors have not been steam cleaned in a while. At least 5 weeks. I figured I'd have to change pads at least twice just for the kitchen. Well after we made a small messy room, half bath and kitchen, the rug looked almost unused. I like to think of myself as a clean person, but that wasn't enough for a pillow. So I noticed that only half of the feed left a wet streak on the floor while the other half was dry to the bone. I overlapped the mopping pattern to ensure full coverage of the floor. Removing the pad is not the safest course of action unless you are wearing closed-toe shoes. The mop doesn't cool down quickly, so stepping on the little tab to remove the pad from the bottom panel gives you a nice little steam bath on your toes. When I looked at the lining I found that it does not clean at all. I put new trim on the car and proceeded to finish the bathroom and hallway. Still not enough dirt on the pad to justify spending 170.00. I have attached some photos to show what I have in front of me. If you look at where the nozzle exits the base plate, it's clear why it doesn't vaporize the entire area. There are too many channels for vapor to try to travel through and it just follows the path of least resistance. IE large channels. It also looks like the rubber pad transferred a lot of black rubber to the underside of the pad as well as the cleaning side. The last photo was taken after I washed the pads in the washing machine. Both have a black cup made from a rubber nozzle. No, I have not used a cleaner in water with a steamer. I will be returning it and cannot recommend this product. I didn't really bother with other attachments so I didn't check them. If he doesn't clean my floors, he's useless to me.
