Review on Enhanced Performance Radiator - Spectra Premium CU2336 for Jeep Grand Cherokee by Chris Hernandez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Seemed like a good buy.

I ordered it because it was cheaper than buying the exact same part from Autozone. I received it in 1 day with 1 day delivery, installed without any problems and thought everything was fine. A day later I noticed gear oil dripping from the front and thought the transmission lines to the radiator were loose and needed tightening. It's okay, I still went to the dealer for an oil change. I'll just ask her to tighten them for me. Came in to find out the lines to the radiator were fine but the radiator itself was leaking and was told I needed a new radiator. I called Revain and they sent me an exchange. No problem and I received it today. Let's see if this works. It's ok if this one works considering I'm installing it myself. If I had to pay to install the first one, I would have to pay again to install this one. It's good to keep in mind if we intend to pay someone to do the work. You may have to pay them again if you get into this situation. I will evaluate the product again once the new cooler is installed. One more thing, when I opened the box with the new heatsink I received today, it looked a little different. Much better packaged than the first. It had real molded foam inserts. The first one only had these styrofoam pieces in the corners. All connections on the heatsink were covered with connectors, unlike the first one I received. It comes with an installation guide which was not included in the first version. It seems I may have gotten someone else's return? According to Robert S. I was able to remove the radiator without draining the air conditioning. Remove the top metal bracket that goes from fender to fender or from the top of the passenger headlight to the top of the driver's headlight. Disconnect the fan and slide it back. Disconnect the AC capacitor and push forward. Remove the additional radiator shroud by pulling it out. Unscrew the radiator and pull it out upwards.
