Really nice gadget - uses the top connector and leaves the bottom free.
I think the best thing is that only the top plug of the wall socket is used and the bottom plug can be used as before. I added this to the outlet and didn't have to unplug the bottom plug that had the power strip/surge protector used for my computers and external hard drives. The addition of this gadget has freed up a whole range of outlets used to charge tablets and phones - just plug the cable into the USB ports. This is a very useful gadget.
